My main goal is to maintain three threads, no less. More if i can write about that many things but i honestly believe that that would be overkill. If there were any blog that i would consider to be "political," it would be this one. The name "Variations on the Dream," is a poke at the phrase "American Dream." I have never really believed that the "American Dream" still exists. People think it does, but to me, it died long ago.
I want this to be a bit more broad-spectrum. World events, politics, community matters. There are tons of things just begging to have yet one more opinion. So, this will be mine. And as always, please send me suggestions for what you would like to hear about. shanetrinityjade@yahoo.com.
